Prediction: Landslide…

You heard it here first…

Landslide for Obama and McCain…

No that’s not the new ticket…

It’s a landslide for both candidates…

I know I sound confident…but I have proved the pundits wrong consistently…I was one of the first to say McCain would get all mavericky and pick the maverick from Alaska…I said Texas would beat OU…and now I say…

Obama will win the popular vote with huge margins in the millions in each of NY, CA, IL…
McCain will win the electoral college by keeping almost all red states except  a mix of NV, CO, NM and IA, but picking up PA and a possible district in NH…each of the battleground states by the slimmest of margins…and a word to those watching late night exit polling…don’t believe it…just like you shouldn’t believe the polls as they stand right now…

The polls just cannot be right.  The pollsters are basing their polling too heavily weighted in the favor of democrats.  Not only that, the early exit polls show a 1% advantage to democrats nationwide.  But what I haven’t heard is that a significant portion of those democrats are the energetic and enthusiatic voting block of PUMAs.  They have seen first hand the divisive tactics and strategy of intimidation by the Obama campaign during the caucuses.  They have experienced it first hand and are out for blood.  They number more than 4 million strong.  And they are strong! And they will make a difference.

In addition to the PUMAs, too many people are still undecided the day of the election…it seems Obama hasn’t closed the deal…this has nothing to do with the race or the so-called “Bradley Effect.” Too much emphasis has been put on the “Bradley Effect” by the campaign playing the race card the whole election.  The media have even reserved speculation that this may be the reason people will not vote for Obama.  But I believe we are better than that.  This is America.  Murtha might think we are racists, but I have a feeling he may be projecting…

The reason:

Two years without scrutiny by the MSM will not enable Obama to coast his way into the White House.  On the contrary, at the end of the day,  undecided voters will walk into the polling station feeling uneasy about voting for a man about whom they know very little.  The pollsters and the media claim that Americans are not interested in Obama’s nefarious friends and sketchy past.  And Obama rhetoric and oratory skills will not overcome what little undecided voters do know about his associations.

If only the MSM had properly vetted their candidate before anointing him?  Instead, they took it upon themselves to divert the attention away from the issues and in the direction of Palin because neither the Obama campaign nor the media had vetted Palin, and hence they payed to the public as if McCain didn’t. Oh yeah the eve of the election it turns out Palin has been cleared of the politically motivated investigation?  Is it too late for the media to investigate what a great job Obama did with the south side of Chicago?  It doesn’t have to be all negative.  Maybe they can produce a friend of Obama’s from before he was sworn in as a US senator from whom Obama is not distancing himself.

With all the new-found information about Obama, that the MSM has been suppressing for so long, finally coming up to the surface for all to view only now, if given another 5 days who wouldn’t guarantee a McCain victory?  Imagine how many great new ads would hit the air waves.  Coal states…check. Jewish and Christian Zionists…check. Free market capitalists…check.  Defenders of the Constitution…check.  All in the McCain column.

But I believe McCain doesn’t need 5 more days…and I really don’t think I could handle 5 more days. McCain has the momentum and the undecided voters will almost entirely break for McCain.  It’s a lot easier to supplant doubt in one’s mind, than to convince him you are The One.  As a result I think time may have run out on Obama and not the reverse, as conventional wisdom would have you think.  In addition to the experienced and well oiled machine that is the traditional republican get out the vote effort and the strength on the ground of the democrats for McCain who have been fighting against Obama for over a year, independent groups like GOPtrust.com, Team Sarah, the RJC, and a host of others exploiting Biden gaffes and Obama’s associations and policies, the McCain campaign has done enough to plant the seeds of doubt which will blossom into a McCain-Palin Victory.

McCain-282 Obama-256

Update: or not…

It appears the American people have chosen hope for the change of changing hope for change over substance…

McCain crushes Obama in last debate…

Tonight, on Monday Night Football at the half, Boomer asked some of the toughest and most pointed questions of the presidential campaign season to both candidates.

All the polls and all the focus groups unanimously agree: America gives McCain the victory as he crushed Obama in the last debate before election day.

Obama focused on his ego as usual.  Claiming it has always been difficult for him to focus on anything but himself.  His high school basketball coach admonished him.  But he thinks as difficult as it has been to focus on other than self, he believes he can do it now….

McCain was quick with answers…no stutters…uhhhs…he claimed that his lessons he learned as a poor JV football player and an equally unsuccessful wrestler and boxer was to do things honorably.  Others may not know, but you will.  And that’s the important thing.  As for one thig he would like the American people to know about him before they go into the booth…”that I could…go…all…the way…to the White House.”  Really funny stuff…he said what we all know…that he has always put his country first and the American people can count on him to do so as president…

interesting…Obama focuses on ego…McCain focuses on Country…

I guess I didn’t learn anything new at the last debate of this election year…but maybe some of the undecideds did…could this have been the debate that puts McCain over the top?

Can you say “Gamechanger!!!!!”

When Obama is president I won’t get arrested…

My friend works as a District Attorney in a major city in the US.

He has told me of countless times when the arresting officer has provided statements regarding arrests that the suspects claim “When Obama is president i won’t get arrested.”

Well it seems like Obama is not only offering immunity to criminals on the streets, it seems he is also going to pay for his constituents’ gas and mortgage bills

Maybe Obama’s transformation of this country he is calling for might not be so bad after all…

Palin cleared of ethics violations…

Report clears Palin in Troopergate probe

I’m so glad the msm and the obama campaign diverted our attention away from the issues for so long…or is obama the only one that can blame skirting the issues on the other candidate?
well, i guess the msm can now go after real violations of public trust involving obama…
oh wait…the election is tomorrow…

MSM failure to “vet” their candidate…

It’s amazing how many great ads could have been made with all that is just now coming out…using Obama’s own words as well as his surrogates’ and addressing:

coal states, jewish and christian zionists, free market capitalists, defenders of the constitution…

So much talk has been made about McCain’s alleged failure to “vet” Palin based on the obama campaign’s lack of research on her and hence the media’s failure to predict McCain’s choice for VP…

But don’t you kind of wish the MSM had properly vetted their candidate before anointing him?

More on Voter Fraud and…Facebook?

I was wondering why I have often been unable to post certain news items critical of Obama…
All I get is a message from Facebook that the article had been deemed inappropriate…
Is this a sign of limitations on freedom of speech which we may see more of with an Obama presidency?
This reporter seems to think there is more of a connection between Facebook and Obama

With the use of government computers investigating a private citizen for asking a presidential candidate a simple question, and kicking reporters whose papers endorse the other candidate off the plane, and siding with union bosses in opposing secret ballots, and claiming racism anytime someone says something critical of obama, this facebook connection is just another link in the chain obama has already begun putting up against our first amendment right of free speech…

Defending Obama until the cows come home…

Obama supporters have gone all in with their empty suit…and as a result, it doesn’t matter what information had been suppressed up until this point, as we hear more and more about Obama’s nefarious past, his choice to buddy up with some of the most repulsive political figures, his lack of judgment, and shortcomings in character, Obama backers seem to be willing to defend obama until the cows come home…

The reasons…

two-fold in my opinion:

1) i have noticed that many people who have defended a position or a person for so long, without any facts to substantiate their positions, and out of pure emotion, will continue to defend that position or person simply out of ego even in the face of new facts revealing their initial positions were completely and irrefutably wrong.  Ego drives their actions as these defenders would rather act like fools by keeping their heads in the sand than admit they were fools to begin with…

2) many of those who choose to remain ignorant rather than accept the facts, do so not out of ego but precisely because defending a position until the cows come home makes it a very difficult proposition to do otherwise when they tend to live no where near a cow…
