  1. Of those cities only two aren’t rustbelt cities, and St. Louis is close. It has nothing to do with how the cities are run, look at Chicago, Madison, Minneapolis/St. Paul, they are all run by democrats and don’t seem to be having a problem. That is because they are transitioning or have transitioned from a Blue collar workforce to a white collar one. Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, and Washington DC are on the richest cities, and they all have democrat mayors. Also if you go further down the list of poorest, there are cities there that are traditionally republican mayors too. This is a partisan attack at best, and cherry picking at worst.

  2. 1. Bob’s comment is partisan at best. While Bob says “it has nothing to do with how the cities are run,” in fact Democrats have made their own beds and now they’re whining about them.

    2. The list is not about “Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.” It’s about the “10 poorest.” Bob’s not even paying attention.

    3.Bob misspelled “democrat.” It’s capitalized.

    4. Bob likewise misspelled “republican” which is also capitalized.

    5. Remember when Democrats reviled Vice President Dan Quayle for allegedly misspelling “potatoe”? It was actually written on the card Quayle read from by the class teacher. But nevertheless, Democrats rejoiced in calling Quayle “stupid” and cited the “potatoe” misspelling time and again.
That is classic cherry picking of the worst kind. Democrats do it all the time.
